英国签证处闭馆通告

【英国文化协会北京办公室 (北京)】英国驻上海及广州总领事馆将于2010年2月5日至10日由于新系统安装而闭馆。此期间, 这两个地方的签证处将不能处理和签发签证申请。然而, 即使我们于2010年2月11日开始正常恢复运行，我们仍然会有积压了大约5日的签证申请需要处理。因此, 签证处理的时间会比往常要延长许多。

虽然我们的签证中心届时会依然开放，但我们建议您如需在中国新年期间去英国，须在2010年1月29日前递交申请。

The British Consulates General Visa sections in Shanghai and Guangzhou will be closed for the installation of a new IT system between 5th and 10th February 2010. The Visa Section in both cities will not be able to process any applications or issue any visas during this period. Once full operations resume on 11th February 2010, there will be a 5 day backlog of applications to be assessed. Processing times for visas are therefore likely to be significantly longer than usual.

Visa Application Centres will remain open, but we advise those wishing to travel to the UK to apply by 29th January 2010, if they wish to obtain Visas in time for Chinese New Year.
